Abstract:

Provided is a horizontal pulling type coating film transfer tool capable of satisfactorily cutting off a transfer tape after a transfer operation and effectively preventing a stringiness phenomenon. A base member 19 having a transfer head 5 at a front end thereof and a rotation arrest member 20 with a supply reel locking claw 20a capable of arresting rotation of a supply reel 4 at a rear half part thereof is rotatably supported by a base member pivotally supporting part 21 provided in a housing. When the transfer head is pressed against a surface to be transferred to, the base member is rotated by a compression spring 23a to release the arresting of rotation of the supply reel. When the pressing of the transfer head is released, the base member returns to an original position to arrest the rotation of the supply reel. The direction of a pressing edge 5a at a front end of the transfer head is orthogonal to rotation support shafts 8 and 13 of the supply reel and a winding reel.
