Abstract:
Disclosed is a horizontal shade such that raising/lowering cords are disposed at positions which are offset from the longitudinal center sections of slats, and that opening and closing operation loads are reduced. At least one raising/lowering cord (22a) is disposed along one vertical cord (16b) among front and rear vertical cords (16a, 16b), and is introduced into a head box (10) through one longitudinal side of the head box (10),. The other raising/lowering cord (22b) is disposed along the other of the vertical cords (16a), and is introduced into the head box (10) thorough the other longitudinal side of the head box (10). All the raising/lowering cords (22a, 22b), which have been introduced into the head box (10) through different longitudinal positions of the head box (10), are wound up in the same direction by raising/lowering drums (20a, 20b), each drum being coupled to one end of a respective raising/lowering cord (22a, 22b).
