Abstract:
A horizontal vehicle drive assembly, comprising a first power source and an automatic transmission (10). A first intermediate shaft (31) is provided in parallel to a first input shaft (21) of the automatic transmission (10). A second intermediate shaft (32) is provided in a direction coaxial with the first input shaft (21). A third intermediate shaft (33) is provided with a direction coaxial with the first intermediate shaft (31). A first clutch (41) is provided between the first intermediate shaft (31) and the third intermediate shaft (33). A second clutch (42) is provided between the first input shaft (21) and the second intermediate shaft (32). A first gear (11) on the first input shaft (21) is in engaged transmission with a second gear (12) on the first intermediate shaft (31). A third gear (13) on the second intermediate shaft (32) is in engaged transmission with a fourth gear (14) on the third intermediate shaft (33). The fourth gear (14) on the third intermediate shaft (33) is also in engaged transmission with a fifth gear (15) on a differential (50). The drive assembly can achieve transmission of two speed ratios, has a flexible transmission form, reduces the longitudinal size and horizontal size, and is suitable for a vehicle having a compact structure. Because the number of gears used is small, a transmission structure is simplified.
