Abstract:
Provided are: a horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film which is a cured product of a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing at least one polymerizable liquid crystal compound; and a laminate comprising the horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film, wherein the horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film is a cured product obtained by curing the polymerizable liquid crystal composition in a state in which the polymerizable liquid crystal compound is aligned in the horizontal direction with respect to the liquid crystal cured film plane, and expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied. Expression (1): nxA(450)>nyA(450)>nzA(450) [In expression (1), nxA(450) represents the main refractive index at a wavelength of λ=450 nm in the film plane of the horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film, nyA(450) represents the refractive index at a wavelength of λ=450 nm in the direction perpendicular to the direction of nxA, and nzA(450) represents the refractive index at a wavelength of λ=450 nm in the film thickness direction of the horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film.] Expression (2): ReA(450)/ReA(550)<1.00 [In expression (2), ReA(λ) represents the in-plane retardation value of the horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film at a wavelength of λ nm, and ReA(λ)=(nxA(λ)-nyA(λ))×dA (dA represents the film thickness of the horizontally aligned liquid crystal cured film).]
