Abstract:
A horn speaker (1) comprises a driver unit (10) and a horn (20). The horn (20) has: a first horn part (21) for guiding sound waves in the opposite direction to a propagation direction of the sound waves; a second horn part (22) for guiding the sound waves in a direction along the propagation direction; a third horn part (23) for guiding the sound waves in the opposite direction to the propagation direction; and a fourth horn part (24) for guiding the sound waves in a direction along the propagation direction and for releasing the sound waves from a horn opening part (20b). The first through fourth horn parts (21, 22, 23, 24) form a sound guide the cross-sectional area of which gradually increases along the traveling directions of the sound waves. The distance (d2) between the horn opening part (20b) and a second turning part (26) is longer than the distance (d1) between the horn opening part (20b) and a closed end (21a) of the first horn part (21).
