Abstract:
A horticultural binder in which an operation link that engages with an engagement
projection from the time at which a lever is in a release state until binding is
made has a first engagement part and a second engagement part. The first engagement
part is the part at which the operating link engages with the engagement projection
until a clincher arm is closed. The second engagement part is the part at which
the operating link engages with the engagement projection after a staple is driven
out until the staple has been bent. The second engagement part is formed such that
its angle relative to a line connecting the boundary between the first engagement
part and the second engagement part to the center of the part to which the operating
link is pivotally attached is larger on the fist engagement part side than on the
pivotally attached part side.
