Abstract:
Provided is a hose clamp that is able to prevent the occurrence of a leak channel at the time of hose fastening. The hose clamp (10) is provided with: a clamp main body (12) formed by bending a band-shaped leaf-spring material into an annular shape; and a pair of operation pieces (13, 21). The clamp main body (12) is held in an expanded-diameter state by means of a locking claw (14) towards the side of one operation piece (13) engaging an engagement concavity (22) towards the side of the other operation piece (21) of the clamp main body (12). The engagement of the locking claw (14) to the engagement concavity (22) is released and the clamp main body (12) contracts from the expanded-diameter state by means of causing the one operation piece (13) to approach the other operation piece (21) and to move in the direction of reciprocation in the axial direction of the clamp main body (12). An expansion-restricting piece (24) that restricts the expansion of the two operation pieces (13, 21) in the direction of reciprocation in the axial direction of the clamp main body (12) by means of contacting the locking claw (14) during release of the engagement of the locking claw (14) to the engagement concavity (22) is provided to the other operation piece (21). Also, a tilting prevention section is provided that prevents the clamp main body (12) from being obliquely attached to the hose (32) at the time of hose (32) fastening.
