Abstract:
Hose coupling devices (10) that securely connect an end of a hose to a fitting member using a retention mechanism (26) operated by multim-threaded engagement of the fitting member (12) with a collar member (14). The multi-threaded engagement also may operate a host advancement mechanism (38). The advancement mechanism axially advances a host during multi-threaded engagement so that the hose may be more effectively gripped by the retention mechanism.
