Title:
HOSE LINKING IMPLEMENT, MOP SUCTION IMPLEMENT, ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANER, AND BALL VALVE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/010668
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an implement for sucking dust and the like adhering to a mop, which employs the negative pressure of an electric vacuum cleaner. A hose linking implement (10) is provided with: a connecting pipe (14) having a first opening serving as a first inlet (31) and a second opening which communicates with the first opening serving as an outlet (33); a branch pipe (15) which is provided on the side surface of the connecting pipe (14) and has an opening serving as a second inlet (32); and a ball valve (40) which is provided in such a way as to be pivotable about the axis of the branch pipe (15) in a state of contact with the inner wall of a valve casing (35) where the connecting pipe (14) and the branch pipe (15) merge, and comprises a first sidewall (41), a second sidewall (42), a third sidewall (43) which faces the branch pipe (15) side, a through-hole (45), and a communicating groove (46) which communicates with the second sidewall (42) from the third sidewall (43). Rotation of the ball valve (40) causes a switch between a first communicating state in which the first inlet (31) and the outlet (33) communicate by way of the through-hole (45), and a second communicating state in which the second inlet (32) and the outlet (33) communicate by way of the communicating groove (46).
