Abstract:
Provided is a lightweight and flexible hose that is for transportation of a refrigerant and that has excellent low gas permeability and low water vapor permeability. This hose for transportation of a refrigerant comprises an inner layer, a reinforcement layer, and an outer layer. The inner layer and the outer layer respectively contain thermoplastic resin compositions each having a sea-island structure composed of a domain including an elastomer and of a matrix including a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin composition of the outer layer has a water vapor permeability coefficient of 10.0 g·mm/(m2·24h) or less at a temperature of 60ºC and a relative humidity of 100%. The thermoplastic resin composition of the inner layer has an oxygen permeability coefficient of 0.05 cm3·mm/(m2·day·mmHg) or less at a temperature of 21ºC and a relative humidity of 50%. The hose has a vapor permeability amount of 6.0 mg/(240h·cm2) or less. The hose has a chlorofluorocarbon HFO-1234yf permeability amount of 170 g/(m2·72h) or less. The mass per 1 m2 of the outer surface area of the hose is 3000 g/m2 or less.
