Abstract:
A host monitoring method and device. Said method provides a preset script, and when being executed, the preset script implements the following steps: acquiring node information about a target node and host information about a target host in the target node (S1); invoking a host template adapted to the target host, and creating, in a monitoring system, an instance of the target host according to the host information and the host template (S3); adding the created instance to a node tree corresponding to the node information (S5); according to the host information, determining a port, to be analyzed, of the instance in the node tree, and invoking an image template matching the port, and creating, for the instance, a port image corresponding to the port (S7); and acquiring real-time data of the port, and rendering the acquired real-time data into the port image (S9). Said method can improve the efficiency of monitoring.
