Abstract:
A hot blow molding method for an aluminum alloy sheet (1), wherein hot blow molding for the aluminum alloy sheet (1) is carried out using a first mold (21), which is a female mold for molding having a protruding surface part (211) on the inside surface thereof, and a second mold (22) for gas introduction. The temperature (T1) of the aluminum alloy sheet (1) and the temperature (T2) of the first mold (21) just prior to the hot blow molding satisfy the relation (T1) − (T2) ≥ 30°C, and (T2) is 400°C or greater. In the hot blow molding, the aluminum alloy sheet (1) comes into contact with at least part of the protruding surface part (211) of the first mold (21) within 30 seconds of the start of gas introduction from the second mold (22).
