Abstract:
Provided is a hot-dip galvanizing method capable of suppressing the occurrence of dross defects. The hot-dip galvanizing method of this embodiment is used for manufacturing a hot-dip galvanized steel sheet or an alloyed hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. This hot-dip galvanizing method includes a sampling step (S1), a δ1-phase dross amount determination step (S2), and an operation condition adjustment step (S3). In the sampling step, a sample is taken from a hot-dip galvanizing bath including Al. In the δ1-phase dross amount determination step, the δ1-phase dross amount in the hot-dip galvanizing bath is determined using the collected sample. In the operation condition adjustment step, the operation conditions of hot-dip galvanizing are adjusted based on the obtained amount of δ1-phase dross.
