Abstract:
 Provided are a hot-melt adhesive having high fluidity when molten, and exhibiting high adhesive strength between PP nonwoven fabrics as well as high adhesive strength between a PE film and a PP nonwoven fabric, and a base polymer for a hot-melt adhesive. A hot-melt adhesive including (A) a propylene-based polymer satisfying (Ai) through (Aiv), and (B) an olefin-based copolymer satisfying (Bi) and (Bii), and a base polymer for a hot-melt adhesive, the base polymer satisfying (1) and (2) and comprising a mixture of (A) a propylene-based polymer satisfying (Ai) through (Aiv) and (B) an olefin-based copolymer satisfying (Bi) and (Bii). (Ai): a melting point of 120°C or lower; (Aii): Mw of 10,000-150,000; (Aiii): Mw/Mn of 2.5 or less; (Aiv): a penetration of 8 or lower; (Bi): a penetration of 15 or higher; (Bii): a melting point of 90°C or above. (1): A tensile modulus at 23°C of 400 MPa or lower. 2): A half-crystallization time at 23°C of 20 minutes or less.
