Abstract:
Provided is a hot-melt-type road surface marking material containing a modified hydrocarbon resin, a coloring pigment, and a filler, the hot-melt-type road surface marking material being characterized in that the modified hydrocarbon resin is obtained by introducing a carboxyl group or an acid anhydride group derived from an unsaturated carboxylic acid or an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride to a resin obtained by hydrogenating a resin including 20-70% by mass of 1,3-pentadiene monomer units, 10-50% by mass of C4-6 alicyclic monoolefin monomer units, 5-40% by mass of a C4-8 acyclic monoolefin monomer units, and 0-1% by mass of alicyclic diolefin monomer units, the olefin hydrogenation ratio of the modified hydrocarbon resin being in the range of 0.1-80%.
