Abstract:
A hot metal gas forming and heat treatment method for a thin-walled hollow Ti2AlNb-based alloy component comprises the following steps: (1) hot gas forming: a tube preform (10) is put into a die (1) after the die is heated to a shaping temperature, a gas inlet end and a gas outlet end of the tube preform are sealed after the die is closed, then a gas outlet switch (9) is kept closed, and a gas inlet switch (8) is opened, such that a compressed gas I enters the tube preform, and hot gas forming is performed to obtain a hot gas formed tube member; and (2) controllable cooling and heat treatment: the gas outlet switch is opened, then a compressed gas II is input into a pipeline via a gas inlet channel (6), gas pressure and temperature in the pipeline are controlled, and when the temperature of the hot gas formed tube member is lowered to 400-500°C, input of the gas is stopped, thereby obtaining a thin-walled hollow Ti2AlNb-based alloy component. The method improves productivity, achieves integration of shape control and performance control, and obtains a tube having excellent mechanical properties. The invention further discloses a thin-walled hollow Ti2AlNb-based alloy component prepared by the hot metal gas forming and heat treatment method.
