Abstract:
This hot press processing device 1 is provided with: a heating step for heating a workpiece W; a press step for press-forming the workpiece W heated by the heating step; and a cooling step in which a portion of the workpiece W press-formed by the press step is cooled to transform the portion into martensite, thereby generating a hard zone Zh in the workpiece W, and another portion of the workpiece W is cooled to transform the other portion into ferrite/bainite, thereby generating a soft zone Zs in the workpiece W. The hot press processing device 1, when performing the cooling step, cools a predetermined portion Zb within the soft zone Zs after raising the stiffness and hardness in the predetermined portion Zb.
