Abstract:

During the manufacturing of a hot-pressed member by hot-pressing a surface-treated steel sheet that is obtained by forming a Zn-based plating layer on a base steel sheet, the surface-treated steel sheet is heated to a temperature range of between 750°C and 1,000°C, after which the surface of the surface-treated steel sheet is cooled, and the surface-treated steel sheet is hot-pressed under such conditions that the surface temperature of the surface-treated steel sheet becomes 400°C or lower, and that either the average temperature of the surface-treated steel sheet becomes 500°C or higher or the temperature at the center in the sheet thickness direction of the surface-treated steel sheet becomes 530°C or higher.
