Abstract:
Provided are: a hot-rolled steel sheet for coiled tubing, the hot-rolled steel sheet being such that the yield strength is 480 MPa or higher, the tensile strength is 600 MPa or higher, the difference (ΔYS) between the yield strength after performance of a pre-distortion load heat treatment that simulates a present production step and a distortion-removal-annealing heat treatment and the yield strength before performance of the pre-distortion load heat treatment is 100 MPa or greater, and the yield strength after performance of the pre-distortion load heat treatment is 620 MPa or higher; and a method for manufacturing the hot-rolled steel sheet for coiled tubing. A steel slab composed of a prescribed component composition is heated to a temperature of 1100-1250°C, inclusive, after which rough rolling is performed; finishing rolling is then performed at a rolling completion temperature in the range of 820-920°C, inclusive; and immediately after the steel slab is cooled to a temperature of 600°C or less at an average cooling rate of 30-100°C/s, inclusive, at a plate-thickness center, the steel slab is wound in a temperature range of 450-600°C, inclusive, thereby producing a hot-rolled steel sheet for coiled tubing.
