Abstract:

Provided are a hot-rolled steel sheet for a magnetic pole having high strength and excellent welding properties and magnetic characteristics, a method for manufacturing the same, and a rim member for hydroelectric power generation. The present invention contains 0.03% to 0.12% of C, 0.15% to 0.70% of Si, 0.8% to 1.4% of Mn, 0.03% or less of P, 0.005% or less of S, 0.08% or less of Al, 0.006% or less of N, and 0.12% to 0.22% of Ti, the remainder comprising Fe and unavoidable impurities. In the present invention, a ferrite phase accounts for 98% or more in terms of area ratio, the precipitated amount of Fe is 0.22% by mass or less with respect to all precipitates, precipitated Ti accounts for 80% by mass or more of the amount of Ti included in the steel, and the average particle diameter of carbides including precipitated Ti is 6 nm or less. In the present invention, the yield strength in the direction of rolling is 700 MPa or greater, the magnetic flux density B50 is 1.5 T or greater, the magnetic flux density B100 is 1.6 T or greater, and the minimum value of the Vickers hardness of a welding heat affected zone is equal to at least the average value of the Vickers hardness of the base material minus 30.
