Abstract:
The hot scafing apparatus of the present invention comprises a safing oxygen cylinder having a base end and a movable end, a piston separator inserted from the movable end that divides the scafing oxygen cylinder into a base end area where oxygen is supplied and a movable end area where oxygen is not supplied, a slit nozzle having a base nozzle end capable of directing oxygen gas from the base end area to a slab and a controller for controlling the piston position, wherein the base nozzle end is positioned outside of the side of the slab on the base end area.
