Abstract:
The invention relates to a hot-water bottle (10) made of plastic, having a bottle body (11) and having a bottle neck (12) forming a filling funnel and having a closure (15) for sealingly threading into a threaded insert (13) of the bottle neck (12) and having a temperature indicator for the liquid water medium to be filled or having been filled, designed such that the temperature indicator is an overheating indicator (25) and is formed by at least one floating insert in the fluid medium of the bottle body (11). In said manner, the temperature of the liquid medium acting directly on the plastic material is displayed optically, resulting in an optically detectable warning of overheating.
