Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hot water mat linked with a heating device which is capable of automatically preventing unnecessary heating by interlocking the temperature control of the hot water mat and the heating device to reduce heating costs and provide a user with rapid heating; and a method for controlling a hot water mat. The hot water mat of the present invention for realizing said feature comprises: a mat communication unit for communicating with a communication unit of a heating device that provides indoor heating; a heating unit for generating hot water; and a mat control unit for receiving an indoor temperature measured by an indoor temperature sensor and controlling the operation of the heating unit from the received indoor temperature to control whether the hot water is supplied to a mat unit.
