Abstract:
This hot water storage-type hot water supply device performs: a first boiling operation in which hot or cold water in a hot water storage tank (11) is boiled at a first heating capacity by using electric power supplied from a commercial power supply in a first time zone; and a second boiling operation in which hot or cold water in the hot water storage tank (11) is boiled by using surplus electric power obtained by subtracting electric power consumed by another appliance from electric power supplied from a natural energy power generation device in a second time zone other than the first time zone. A first hot water amount boiled in the first boiling operation is set to a hot water amount obtained by subtracting a second hot water amount boiled in the next second boiling operation from a predetermined necessary hot water amount per day. When the surplus electric power is less than electric power which exhibits the first heating capacity in the second boiling operation, a control section controls a heating section (2) and heats hot or cold water in the hot water storage tank (11) at the second heating capacity less than the first heating capacity by using the surplus electric power.
