Abstract:
A household cart capable of being moved smoothly in all directions even in a narrow passage and having a high load resistance, a high stability and so beautiful an appearance that it can be used even as interior article; and wheels and fixing devices which are optimaly used for the household cart. Specifically, a cart which has wheels fixed to a lower surface of a cart body (A), wherein a considerably large thickness is given to the cart body (A) so as to provide the cart with both a low overall height and a beautiful appearance, at least three ball castors (B) are used as the wheels, and a method of embedding a castor in the interior of the cart body (A) is employed as a method of fixing the ball castors (B) to the cart body (A), each of the ball castors (B) is formed by providing a cylindrical member (B1) with at least one annular projection (B2) on an outer circumferential surface thereof, and covering a spherical member (B3) with an elastic outer case (B5) or forming it solidly with an elastic material, and the cart fixing devices use horizontally fitting type detachable fixing units (C) for ball castors.
