Description:
Household cooling appliance with a door device comprising a cover

The invention relates to a Household cooling appliance comprising a housing, in which at least one compartment for food items is formed, and comprising a door device by which the compartment is openable or closable, wherein the door device comprises an inner door and an outer door, wherein the outer door is arranged in front of the inner door in a closed state of the doors.

From the KR 2013 0015988 a household cooling appliance is known that has a door device comprising two doors. The doors are pivotable about a common axis, wherein they can be pivoted independently of each other as well as pivoted jointly. In the rear door a storage compartment is formed, which is closable by the front door. The entire door device closes a receptacle for food items that is separate from the storage compartment of the door device and is a cooling compartment. On an inner side of the front door, which faces the rear door, door trays are arranged. Furthermore, door trays are arranged on the rear door. The second door is bounded towards the rear by a wall that is transparent and in turn comprises a pivotable flap element itself.

It is an object of the present invention to create a household cooling appliance with a door device, which are configured to be more functional, and an embodiment with a reduced number of components is improved with regard to the design of the storage space.

One aspect of the invention relates to a household cooling appliance which comprises a housing, in which at least one compartment for food items (e.g. is goods to be cooled) is formed, and comprising a door device by which the compartment is openable or closable, the door device comprising an inner door and an outer door, wherein the outer door is arranged in front of the inner door in a closed state of the doors and wherein the inner door comprises a storage space for food items and an access opening for the storage space, wherein the access opening is openable or closable by the outer door, wherein the inner door comprises a cover stationary coupled to the inner door, wherein the cover covers the storage space on a side facing away from the access opening. One further aspect of the invention relates to a household cooling appliance which comprises a housing, in which at least one compartment for food items (e.g. is goods to be cooled) is formed, and comprising a door device, the door device comprises a inner door and a outer door that is separate therefrom. The outer door is pivotably arranged on the inner door. In the closed state of the outer door the inner door is covered at the front side by the outer door at least in portions. The outer door is pivotable relative to the inner door. In a coupled state of the doors the outer door is motion-coupled with the inner door and is jointly pivotable with the inner door. In the inner door a storage space for food items is formed, which viewed in the depth direction of the door device, at the front side comprises a access opening, which is closable by the outer door. The storage space is bounded by a troughlike wall body of the door device. The door device moreover comprises a cover that is separate from the wall body and is arranged on the side of the wall body that is opposite to the access opening. This cover covers the wall body on the side facing away from the outer door.

One further aspect of the invention relates to a household cooling appliance which comprises a housing, in which at least one compartment for food items (e.g. is goods to be cooled) is formed, and comprising a door device by which the compartment is openable or closable, the door device comprising an inner door and an outer door, wherein the outer door is arranged in front of the inner door in a closed state of the doors, wherein the outer door comprises at least one door tray. The door tray may be attached to a side of the outer door facing the inner door in the closed state of the outer doors. The inner door may comprise a storage space for food items and an access opening for the storage space, wherein the access opening is openable or closable by the outer door. The door tray may in particular extend into the storage space in the closed state of the doors. The door tray may extend horizontally along a width direction of the outer door. In case of two, three or more door trays are attached to the outer door, these door trays may be positioned vertically above each other. Additionally the inner door may be provided with at least one (e.g. one, two, three or more) door tray which is attached to a side of the inner door facing the outer door in the closed state of the door. Additionally the inner door may be provided with at least one (e.g. one, two, three or more) door tray which is attached to a side of the inner door facing the compartment of the housing in the closed state of the door. The outer door may in particular - as also described below - be transparent at least in portions. In particular, the outer door can comprise at least one viewing pane. The viewing pane, or window, can comprise a glass plate. In particular, the viewing pane can comprise an insulation glass.

One further aspect of the invention relates to a household cooling appliance which comprises a housing, in which at least one compartment for food items (e.g. is goods to be cooled) is formed, and comprising a door device by which the compartment is openable or closable, the door device comprising an inner door and an outer door, wherein the outer door is arranged in front of the inner door in a closed state of the doors, wherein the outer door is - as also described below - transparent at least in portions. In particular, the outer door can comprise at least one viewing pane. The viewing pane, or window, can comprise a glass plate. In particular, the viewing pane can comprise an insulation glass.

The features described in the following description and the features of the dependent claims can be combined with all of the above-mentioned aspects of the invention.

By such designs the functionality of the door device and thus the household cooling appliance is improved. On the one hand, the storage space is bounded by an element that has a reduced number of components, namely the cover or the troughlike wall body so that here in particular only one component, namely this cover or troughlike body bounds the storage space, e.g. circumferentially and thus on many sides. The storage space can therefore be enclosed in several directions by this one component.

When employing both, the cover and the wall body the possibility of covering or cladding the wall body towards the rear side is created so that it is not visible in this regard, too. Moreover, by the cover it is facilitated that the door device is further developed functionally also on the rear side and to also use this cover for attaching further components. Thereby by the door device a door-to-door system is created, which complies with a multifunctional concept in order to be able to store food items in many ways on the door itself, in particular also with various, independent storage conditions. Moreover, accessibility of the individual areas of the door device, in which then food items can be stored, is provided in a simple and user-friendly way. The doors (i.e. the inner door and the outer door) of the door device are pivotable about a single common rotation axis in the coupled state of the doors. In the coupled state a user can grab one of the doors and thus open the door device to get access to the compartment.

By such a door-on-door system, in the closed state of the inner door, by which a compartment for food items, such as a cooling compartment or a freezer compartment, of the household cooling appliance is closed, nevertheless access to the storage space in the door device itself can be provided, without cooling energy escaping from the compartment in an undesired way. For this purpose then only the outer door needs to be opened and access to the storage space is achieved. In the storage space in particular bottles can be stored, which then can simply be taken out or put in. The door tray then is configured in particular for receiving bottles. The door device consequently comprises in particular a clearance which is formed by the storage space and which is bounded by the two doors towards the front and towards the rear. The storage space thus is pivoted along when the entire door device is pivoted (coupled state) relative to the housing of the household cooling appliance in particular in order to gain access to the compartment.

By the phrase, that the cover is stationary coupled to the inner door, it is in particular understood, that the cover and the inner door may during use of the household cooling appliance be permanently motion-coupled; that is when opening or closing the inner door the cover will be moved along with the inner door. The cover may therefore in particular not be movable relatively to the inner door. The cover may in particular shield the storage space towards the rear, i.e. towards the compartment. The cover in particular prevents access to the storage space from the rear side, i.e. the cover may prevent access to the storage space, once the outer door and the inner door are opened simultaneously. For the envisaged usage of the household cooling appliance, the cover may not necessarily be able to be disassembled or removed from the inner door in a non-destructive way or the cover may not be disassembled or removed from the inner door without tools. In this way an accidental removal of the cover from the inner door, e.g. by a user, can be prevented.

According to an embodiment, the inner door comprises a wall body. According to an embodiment, the wall body is a troughlike wall body. A vertical extension, i.e. in height direction, of the troughlike wall body, may correspond to at least 25 % or at least 40 % or at least 60 % or at least 70 % of a vertical extension of the outer door and/or the inner door. The vertical extension of the troughlike wall body is measured as clear width in vertical direction.

A vertical extension of the outer door and a vertical extension of the inner door may substantially be the same.“Substantially” in this context means that a difference in the vertical extensions of the outer door and the inner door shall be less than 30 %, or less than 20 % or less than 10 % or less than 5 % of the vertical extension of the outer door.

According to an embodiment, the cover is also configured to be troughlike. By such a design the cover is more stable, in particular more torsion-resistant. Moreover by such a design also improved connection options of the cover to other components of the household cooling appliance are facilitated. Moreover by such a geometric shape of the cover a concept that saves construction space in the depth direction is made possible since also a certain plunging-in of further components into the trough volume of this troughlike cover is facilitated.

According to an embodiment, the cover is arranged on a support structure of the inner door. Thereby a stable attachment is facilitated since the support structure is set up mechanically stable and is provided for connecting to several components. The cover may be fixed to the inner door, in particular to the support structure, by using mechanical fasting elements such as hooks, bolts, screws.

The support structure of the inner door can be configured to be frame-like, and can in particular be a circumferentially completely closed frame. Thereby it is also of a very robust design.

According to an embodiment, the wall body at its rear side is fully covered by the cover. When viewed in the depth direction of the door device, the dimensions of the cover may at least as large as those of the wall body. Thus also a design can be realized, in which upon viewing a projection in a plane perpendicular to the depth direction, the outline of the wall body remain entirely within the outline of the cover. According to an embodiment, the wall body is completely covered on the side that faces away from the access opening.

According to an embodiment, the cover comprises vertical edges that are opposite thereto and thus are oriented in the height direction of the door device. On these vertical edges preferably a carrier bar each may be integrally formed. In particular on each carrier bar at least one suspension hook may be integrally formed. By such a design a suspension hook is attached in an exposed position so that it is oriented freely cantilevering to project from the cover. This allows for an advantageous coupling or in particular a hooking into a further component, in particular a support structure of the inner door. Moreover, by this design in the form of a manufacture of the suspension hook as a single piece with the carrier bar and thus also as a single piece with the cover a design of the concept including a reduced number of components is rendered possible. Undesired position tolerances can be avoided. Equally thereby the required mounting effort is reduced. By the additional support bar also a mechanically stable component is created, with which the suspension hook is integrally formed. Thereby also corresponding forces that act upon the cover via the suspension hook can be absorbed and deflected via the carrier bar.

According to an embodiment, the support structure of the inner door is a carrier frame. In particular this carrier frame is at least U-shaped, preferably configured to be circumferentially fully closed.

According to an embodiment, the troughlike wall body is stationary fixed to the inner door. Thus the wall body is coupled to movements of the inner door. By the phrase, that the troughlike wall body is stationary fixed to the inner door, it is in particular understood, that the troughlike wall body and the inner door may be permanently motion-coupled, that is when opening or closing the inner door the troughlike wall body will be moved along with the inner door. The troughlike wall body may therefore in particular not be movable relatively to the inner door. For the envisaged usage of the household cooling appliance, the troughlike wall body may not necessarily be able to be disassembled or removed from the inner door in a non-destructive way or the troughlike wall body may not be disassembled or removed from the inner door without tools. In this way an accidental removal of the troughlike wall body from the inner door, e.g. by a user, can be prevented. According to an embodiment, the wall body is non-destructively releasably attached to the support structure. In this way, the wall body can be removed for the purpose of servicing or cleaning. The wall body may be releasable only by using tools. In particular a screwing is envisaged, whereby at least one, preferably several screw connections are realized. Thereby the wall body is also attachable to be securely fitted in position and fastened to a component that is designed to be advantageous for this purpose, namely this stable support structure.

According to an embodiment, the cover is attached directly to the wall body in a non- destructively releasable way. In this way, the cover can be removed for the purpose of servicing or cleaning. The cover may be releasable only by using tools. In particular it can be screwed onto it. In this connection also several screw connections can be realized. The cover may be screwed upon the wall body and additionally suspended via several suspension hooks from the support structure from the top. Thereby a particularly stable attachment concept between the cover, the wall body, and the support structure is provided which can be easily assembled.

According to an embodiment, the wall body, viewed in the depth direction of the door device, is arranged to extend into the cover at least in portions. In particular, an extension of the wall body in depth direction extends at least up to 20 %, or at least up to 30 %, or at least up to 40 % or at least up to 50 % into the cover in depth direction. A concept that is space-saving in the depth direction is thereby realized. It may be envisaged that between a rear wall of the wall body and a rear wall of the cover a clearance or gap or channel is formed. The rear walls thus are not directly in contact with each other. By this defined clearance also airstreams can be generated in a defined way so that the clearance is also formed as flow passage. Thereby individual temperature adjustments upon the wall body, on the one hand, and upon the cover, on the other hand, can be achieved. This, in turn, may lead to individual impact in particular upon the temperature in the storage space. The food items stored therein can then also be exposed to define storage conditions.

According to an embodiment, on a top side wall of the troughlike wall body and/or on a bottom side wall of the troughlike wall body ventilation openings are formed. Thereby, particularly advantageously, an airstream can be generated which is oriented in a very specific direction, namely along the height direction. Both the supplying and exhausting of air is thereby very advantageously facilitated. In particular, thus the specific passing of air into and out of the clearance can be effected without air streaming towards other components in an undesired manner.

Especially with the ventilation openings in the at least one side wall of the troughlike wall body then also a defined airstream can then be generated in the storage space itself. Thereby the storage conditions in the storage space can be individually influenced. In particular, it then is also possible that an undesired condensation at a front plate of the outer door, which may be configured as transparent pane, occurs.

According to an embodiment, on a top side wall the troughlike cover and/or at a bottom side wall of the troughlike cover ventilation openings are formed. Also thereby the above- named advantages can be achieved.

According to an embodiment, on the side of the cover that faces away from the storage space at least one separate door tray is arranged. This leads to a highly functional design. In this context in the storage space of the inner door, which is closable by the outer door, at least one door tray may be provided. Thus, stored goods, in particular bottles can be stored in this storage space in a defined way and can be made accessible at the front side by way of opening the outer door. On the other hand it is moreover also envisaged that on the rear side of the door device formed by the cover a further door tray is arranged outside this storage space. This is only accessible if the door device is open, e.g. in the coupled state of the inner door and the outer door. Otherwise, this separate door tray preferably is not accessible and projects into the compartment of the household cooling appliance once the door device closed. In the light of the above, the multi-functionality of the door device is also particularly advantageous in this regard. This is because, if the door device is arranged on the housing of the household cooling appliance and the door device is closed, the door tray on the cover can adopt the storage conditions as they are prevailing in the compartment of the household cooling appliance. By contrast, then the door tray in the storage space for this purpose can be exposed to various storage conditions, e.g. different storage conditions than those prevailing in the compartment. Thus in the two different separate door trays, which are also arranged at different locations of the door device, stored goods can be received, which are applied with the most varied storage conditions. According to an embodiment, by a side wall of the troughlike wall body a bottom is formed, wherein between further side walls of the wall body a connection bar, in particular a rib, extends, which is arranged in the height direction of the door device spaced apart from the bottom. Thereby by the bottom and the connection bar an open space is formed. This open space for food items thus in the height direction between the bottom and the connection bar has a clearance, through which it can also be looked and via which the open space is also accessible at the front side. In particular, access, i.e. for placing items to be stored, however, is granted from the top.

According to an embodiment, the troughlike wall body is configured as box. This can also comprise a stiffening frame. The stiffening frame can be configured to be partly or completely circumferential.

According to an embodiment, the troughlike wall body is formed as a single piece, in particular made of plastic. For example, the toughlike wall body can be a plastic injection moulded part.

According to an embodiment, the cover is formed as a single piece, in particular made of plastic. For example, the cover can be a plastic injection moulded part.

Moreover, it may also be envisaged that in the storage space a separate, at least in portions transparent, plate is arranged. This plate can for instance be made of real glass. This separate plate can be arranged on the trough bottom of the troughlike wall body.

This troughlike wall body may be oriented in the height direction and thus positioned upright. The bottom or trough bottom of the troughlike wall body thus is oriented in a plane that extends through the height direction and the width direction of the door device.

Side walls of the troughlike wall body that extend directly from the bottom can be oriented slanted so that the troughlike wall body widens starting from the bottom of the access opening. According to an embodiment, the door device comprises an illumination device, by means of which the storage space can be illuminated. For example the incident light from the illumination device in the storage space, viewed in the height direction of the door device, is at the height level of a tray as it is formed in the storage space.

By the already named ventilation openings or ventilation slots in the side walls of the troughlike wall body also cold air coming from a compartment of the household cooling appliance, in particular from a cooling compartment, can be passed into the storage space. In particular the supply of air is effected via ventilation openings in the upper horizontal side wall and the exhaustion of air via a, in the height direction, lower horizontal side wall of the troughlike wall body. According to an embodiment, the wall strips bounding the ventilation openings in the side walls are positioned to be slanted in order to increase the length (measured in the flow direction of the air through the opening) of the ventilation slots or ventilation openings and thus to achieve maximum air circulation. For stiffening the ventilation openings additional crossbars may be formed.

In particular, by the effected airstream in the clearance between the troughlike wall body and the cover a condensation in this clearance can be avoided.

According to an embodiment, the a vertical extension of the outer door and a vertical extension of the inner door as well as a horizontal extension in width direction of the outer door and a horizontal extension in width direction of the inner are substantially the same. “Substantially the same” in this context means, that a difference of an extension (vertical or horizontal) of the inner door with respect to the corresponding extension of the outer door is less than 25 %, less than 15 %, less than 10 % or less than 5 % in view of the respective extension of the outer door.

According to an embodiment, the outer door is substantially flat.“Substantially flat” in this context means that a vertical extension of the outer door and a horizontal extension in width direction of the outer door are each at least 5 times, or at least 10 times larger than a horizontal extension of the outer door in depth direction. In particular, there may be no door trays attached to the outer door. According to an embodiment, the outer door is transparent at least in portions. In this way, goods to be stored in the storage space can be seen, even in case the outer door is closed. In particular, the outer door can comprise at least one viewing pane. The viewing pane, or window, can comprise a glass plate. In particular, the viewing pane can comprise an insulation glass. The insulation glass may consist of two, three or more glass panels which are positioned in depth direction with a distance to each other. Between the glass panels an insulation medium, e.g. inert gas, or a vacuum may exist. The viewing pane may be surrounded by a frame. The viewing pane may represent at least 50 %, or at least 75 %, or at least 80 % or at least 90 % of a visible front surface of the outer door.

According to an embodiment, the compartment is a cooling compartment. It may however also be a freezer compartment. The household cooling appliance may comprise at least two separate compartments for food items, one of which may be a cooling compartment and the other a freezer compartment. It may be envisaged that these compartments are configured to be one above the other in the height direction of the household cooling appliance. For instance it may be envisaged that the top compartment is closable by two separate doors, which are pivotable about separate vertical axes, wherein the vertical axes extend in parallel to each other, however, are arranged at opposite sides of the housing, viewed in the width direction. These two doors for closing the compartment are pivotable independently of each other and, viewed in the width direction, are arranged adjacent to each other without overlapping. In the height direction these two doors are arranged at the same height level. In the closed state of the two doors they extend in one plane relative to each other that extends through the width direction and the height direction without overlapping.

In particular at least one of these two doors, which closes this compartment, can be configured as a door device according to the present invention. The further compartment can preferably be closable by a further separate door. This further door can be a front wall of a drawer that can be pushed in and drawn out linearly in the depth direction.

With the indications„top“,„bottom“,„rear“, ..horizontal", ..vertical",„depth direction",„width direction", ..height direction" etc. the positions and orientations given with intended use and intended arrangement of the door device or the device are indicated. In Fig. 1 in a schematic view an embodiment of a household cooling appliance 1 is shown, which for instance can be a cooling device or a freezer device or a fridge-freezer combination device. A household cooling appliance 1 , which is configured for storing and preserving food items, comprises a housing 2, in which at least one receptacle 3 for food items is formed. The receptacle 3 here is preferably a cooling compartment.

Moreover, the household cooling appliance 1 comprises a door 4, which is pivotably arranged on the housing 2. The door 4 is configured for closing the receptacle 3 on the front side.

In the case of the embodiment shown here, the receptacle 3 is also closed by a further separate door, which is arranged in the width direction (x direction) adjacent to the door 4 and in the height direction (y direction) at the same height thereto. This further door in the embodiment is a door device 5. It is composed of at least two separate doors. The door device 5 comprises a storage space 11 , which is formed between the doors. In the storage space 11 at least one door tray 6 is formed, which in particular is configured for receiving bottles.

Moreover, the household cooling appliance 1 comprises a further receptacle 7 for food items, which is separate therefrom and can be a freezer compartment. The further receptacle 7 is closable by a door 8 that is separate therefrom. This door 8 can be a front wall of a drawer, which can be pushed in and drawn out in the linear direction and thus in the depth direction (z-di recti on). In the closed state the doors 4 and 8 as well as the door device 5 are arranged in the same plane relative to each other and represent front side visible components or outer components of the household cooling appliance 1.

The doors 4 and 8 as well as the door device 5 are operable independently of each other. For accessing the receptacle 3 the door 4 and the door device 5 can be opened or only one of the two components. The door 4 and the door device 5 each are pivotable about vertical axes. Also an embodiment of a household cooling appliance 1 is envisaged, in which only the receptacle 3 is present. Same can then also be closed by the door 4 and the door device 5. In a further embodiment it may also be envisaged that then one receptacle 3 is only closed by a door device 5 and the door 4 is not present. Equally, an embodiment with the receptacles 3 and 7 can be envisaged, in which in contrast to Fig. 1 the receptacle 3 is closable only by the door device 5.

This door device 5 comprises, as this is also shown in Fig. 2, in particular a inner door 9 and moreover a outer door 10 thereto. The two doors 9 and 10 each are individual objective components, which in particular are pivotable about a common vertical axis. The two doors 9 and 10 can be pivoted also independently of each other and thus individually. The outer door 10 in this connection represents the front side component and in the closed state covers the inner door 9 that lies behind it in the depth direction. If the two doors 9 and 10 are coupled with each other they are also in this regard motion-coupled. This means that the entire door device 5 can then be jointly pivoted about a single vertical axis. Thereby, access is also provided to the receptacle 3. If, on the other hand, only the front side outer door 10 of this door device 5 is activated and thus pivoted, access to the storage space 11 can be achieved. This storage space 11 thus is formed in the door device 5 itself. It may for instance be configured as bottle storage space. Thus this storage space 11 is arranged between the inner door 9 and the outer door 10 and thus in the closed state of the door device 5 is bounded by the two doors 9 and 10. The storage space 11 is open towards the front so that it is accessible from the front when the outer door 10 is open. This may be achieved in both cases, when the inner door 9 is closed and when the inner door 9 is also open.

As can be moreover seen in Fig. 3, which is a perspective horizontal sectional view, the storage space 11 in an advantageous embodiment is bounded by a separate insert 12 at least laterally, towards the back, towards the top, and towards the bottom. This insert 12 therefore is of a troughlike design. It is shown in Fig. 3, which is a sectional perspective view, in which the sectional plane is in the horizontal plane and thus in x-z plane, with a bottom advantageously present lower door tray 6. The door tray 6 is integrated with partial components in the storage space 11. Moreover, in Fig. 3 it can also be seen that on an inner side 13 of the inner door 9 that faces the receptacle 3 an in this respect further complete separate door tray 14 is arranged. This further door tray 14 can be a common door tray and in the closed state of the inner door 9 is not accessible from the outside and thus the front side.

In Fig. 3 the outer door 10 is shown in the opened state so that at the front side access to the storage space 11 is facilitated. The inner door 9, however, remains further closed so that access to the receptacle 3 is denied.

As can be seen here, the outer door 10 has a design that is transparent at least in portions. For this purpose in the shown embodiment at least one viewing pane 15 is provided, through which in the closed state of the door 10 it can be looked. The outer door 10 in this connection preferably also comprises a frame 16, which circumferentially encloses this at least one viewing pane 15, preferably a pane package, which can also be insulation glass.

In Fig. 4 in a perspective vertical sectional view the household cooling appliance 1 according to Fig. 1 in the area of the door device 5 is shown. Here a state is shown, in which also the outer door 10 is shown in the closed state. The door device 5, which is also designed as a door-to-door system, thus also facilitates that in the closed state of the inner door 9 the outer door 10 can be opened and thus the sole access is only granted to the storage space 11. If access to the receptacle 3 is achieved, the entire door device 5 and thus the then motion-coupled doors 9 and 10 are pivoted so that then also access to these interior door trays 14 is given.

As can also be seen in the representations in Fig. 2 to Fig. 4, the storage space 11 has a front side access opening 17, which is closable by the outer door 10.

The door device 5, as can equally be seen in Fig. 2 to Fig. 4, comprises a troughlike wall body 18. This troughlike wall body is configured in particular as a single piece. It is preferably formed from plastic. It is in particular an injection-moulded component. In particular the insert 12 is formed by the wall body 18. The wall body 18, which can also be referred to as body 19, is vertically oriented. This means that it is positioned upright in its trough shape and the trough opening is oriented towards the front. The wall opening is also defined by the access opening 17.

This wall body 18 has a rear wall 20, which also represents a trough bottom of this wall shape. This rear wall 20 is vertically oriented and thus extends in the x-y plane.

Moreover the wall body 18 on this rear wall 20 has side walls 21 and 22 ending in it, which in particular are vertically oriented side walls. Moreover this wall body has a bottom horizontal side wall 23 and moreover has a top horizontal side wall 24. This wall body 18 is configured as insert 12, which bounds the storage space 11 thus towards the back, towards the side, towards the bottom, and towards the top.

The door device 5 moreover comprises a cover 25 that is separate from the wall body 18. This separate cover 25 is preferably formed as a single piece, in particular from plastic. The cover 25 in the embodiment is equally designed to be troughlike. It comprises a rear wall, which is formed as trough bottom 26. The cover 25 is designed in such a way that it covers the wall body 18, viewed in the depth direction (z direction), towards the back, in particular fully covers it. Towards the receptacle 3 the wall body 18 thus is fully covered by the cover 25.

As can also be seen in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, the wall body 18, viewed in the depth direction, plunges into the volume of the troughlike cover 25. Nevertheless, the rear wall 20 and the trough bottom 26, which is equally configured as rear wall, are arranged spaced apart from each other.

The cover 25 in the embodiment also represents an inner door wall 27, which covers the inner door 9 towards the back and thus is a rear end part. In particular is this inner door wall 27 thus also a rear visible component of the inner door 9. In the shown embodiment this inner door wall 27, which represents the cover 25 for the wall body 18, is also a rear end part of the door device 5. The cover 25 comprises side walls 28 and 29 ending in the trough bottom 26, which are vertical side walls. The inner side 13 (facing the receptacle 3) is the inner side of the trough bottom 26. Thus, on the cover 25 the separate door tray 14 is attached.

The door tray 14 is arranged on the side of the door device 5 facing away from the storage space 11 and thus external to the storage space 11. In the closed state of the inner door 9 the door tray 14 is arranged to face the receptacle 3 and extends in particular also into the receptacle 3. In particular the door tray 14 thus is exposed to the storage conditions as they are prevailing in the receptacle 3, if at least the inner door 9 is closed.

The cover 25 thus is arranged on the side of the wall body 18 opposite the access opening 17. This cover 25 covers the body 18 on the side facing away from the outer door 10.

As can equally be seen in Fig. 2 to Fig. 4, the wall body 18 and the cover 25, which is separate therefrom, are components of the inner door 9. In particular the cover 25 and/or the wall body 18 is arranged on a support structure 30 of the door device 5, in particular the inner door 9. The support structure 30 is preferably a frame. In particular the frame is configured to be circumferentially closed.

Moreover, on the wall body 18 in the storage space 11 a further, separate door tray 88 is arranged.

In Fig. 5 in a perspective view an embodiment of the cover 25 is shown. The cover 25, as it is already set out in the above, can advantageously be configured as inner door wall 27 for a door, here in particular the inner door 9.

On the vertically oriented side walls 28 and 29, which are situated opposite in the height direction, a plurality of suspension hooks 31 , 32, 33, 34, 35, and 36 are formed, here in particular six. The suspension hooks 31 to 36 are integrated into the side walls 28 and 29. Preferably, at least two such suspension hooks 31 to 36 are present. In the embodiment shown here suspension hooks 31 to 36 are formed in pairs at the same height level. Advantageously, it is envisaged that the suspension hooks 31 to 36 are configured to project from the side walls 28 to 29. They are freely cantilevering and in this connection oriented to face away from the rear wall 20.

Advantageously, it is envisaged that on free vertical edges 37 and 38 of the side walls 28 and 29 carrier bars 39 and 40 are configured. The carrier bars 39 and 40 are designed as ribs and integrally formed with the side walls 28 and 29. On the carrier bars 39 and 40 projecting from the vertical edges 37 and 38 towards the front the suspension hooks 31 to 36 are integrally formed.

With the suspension hooks 31 to 36 the cover 25 is suspended from a component of the door device 5. In particular here a suspension from the top from the support structure 30 is envisaged. This support structure 30, as already mentioned in the above, at least in portions is configured as at least U-shaped carrier frame, preferably circumferentially closed carrier frame.

Moreover, it can also be seen that the cover 25, which here in the shown embodiment is troughlike, comprises a further bottom side wall 41 and a further top side wall 42. By the side walls 28, 29, 41 und 42 thus also the trough is configured to be circumferentially closed. In the bottom side wall 41 , which is oriented in the width direction, in an advantageous embodiment ventilation openings 43 are formed. These ventilation openings 43 are here configured to be ventilation slots. Advantageously, it is also envisaged that, in the, viewed in the height direction, top side wall 42 equally ventilation openings 44 are formed, which are configured as ventilation slots.

It may be envisaged that the ventilation openings 43 and 44 can additionally be connected with crossbars that are not shown here. These crossbars 45 are shown in an exemplary way in Fig. 6.

Moreover, it is preferably shown that the ventilation openings 43 and 44 are bounded by slanted walls so that the respective depth (viewed perpendicular to the sidewall 41 , 42) of the ventilation openings is enlarged. The depth measured in the direction of the current then is not only given by the wall thickness of a side wall 41 , 42, but by the bounding walls, which in this respect are quasi extended. By these ventilation openings 43, 44 a clearance 46 (Fig. 3 and Fig. 4), which is formed between the cover 25, here in particular air flows through the inner door wall 27, and the wall body 18, in particular the body 19. Thereby a condensation in this clearance 46 can be avoided. Moreover by such an air flow in the clearance 46 an individual admission of temperature can be effected.

Advantageously, the cover 25 and thus in particular the inner door wall 27 is integrally formed, in particular from plastic. Here an injection-moulded component can be formed. Preferably, this injection-moulded component can be manufactured by a cascade injection-moulding.

In an advantageous embodiment it is envisaged that the wall body 18 is attached in a non destructive^ releasable way on the support structure 30. Preferably, here at least one screw connection is envisaged. Advantageously, it is envisaged that the cover 25 and thus in particular also the inner door wall 27 is attached in a non-destructively releasable way directly on the wall body 18. Here at least one screw connection can be provided. In particular it is envisaged that the cover 25 is suspended from the support structure 30 and additionally the cover 25 is screwed onto the wall body 18.

Preferably, it is envisaged that the wall body 18, viewed in the depth direction (z direction) of the door device 5, at least in portions is arranged to plunge into the cover 25, as it can be seen in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4. The clearance 46 is in particular also formed between the rear wall 20 of the wall body 18 and also between a rear wall of the cover 25. In the embodiment this rear wall is formed by the trough bottom 26.

In particular it is envisaged that the cover 25 and thus in particular also the inner door wall 27 comprises an integrally formed suspension rib 47, as it is shown in Fig. 7. The suspension rib 47 thus integrally manufactured with the inner door wall 27 is configured for suspending a door tray that is separate therefrom, in particular the door tray 14. As can be seen in Fig. 7, by the wall bottom 26, which here represents an embodiment for a wall element 48 of the inner door wall 27, this suspension rib 47 is formed as a single piece with it. This wall element 48 is oriented in the vertical direction and in the x-y plane. In the representation in Fig. 7 it can be seen that this suspension rib 47 is oriented in the width direction and represents a plateau 49 that is elevated relative to the wall element 48. This plateau 49 thus can also be referred to as pedestal or base. This plateau 49 has a plane plateau front wall 50. This extends advantageously in a plane parallel to the plane of the wall element 48.

By narrow plateau edges, namely in particular a bottom plateau edge 51 , lateral plateau edges 52 and 53 and a top plateau edge 54, the elevated structure is formed and the connection to the wall element 48 achieved. Viewed in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the wall element 48 and thus in the depth direction, the plateau 49 preferably has a height smaller than 3 cm, in particular between 1 cm and 3 cm. The, viewed in the height direction, top plateau edge 54, which extends in the width direction, has a suspension slot 55. In this suspension slot 55, which is fully pass-through and thus is also configured as a slot hole, the door tray 14 can be suspended from the top. This suspension slot 55 thus is open towards the top, viewed in the height direction. The suspension slot 55 thus is also a breach in the wall element 48 so that the door tray 14 in the suspended state projects through the wall element 48. The door tray 14 thus projects through the wall element 48 and is arranged in the mounted state on both sides of the wall element 48.

As can be seen in Fig. 7, the suspension slot 55 only in portions extends beyond the length of the top plateau edge 54 dimensioned in the width direction.

Preferably, it is envisaged that the lateral plateau edges 52 and 53 are configured to be of an uninterrupted design. In particular also the bottom plateau edge 51 is of an uninterrupted design. The lateral plateau edges 52 and 53 directly end in the bottom plateau edge 51 so that here a U-shaped plateau edge construct is formed, which is designed to be uninterrupted and without a slot.

The plateau 49 is of a single-wall design so that a rear side 56 (Fig. 8) of the plateau 49 forms a partial area of a rear wall of the wall element 48.

The suspension rib 47 on its rear side 56 preferably comprises a multitude of couple bars 58 that are formed as a single piece with the suspension rib 47. This can be seen in the perspective sectional view in Fig. 8. In Fig. 9 in this connection a view of the couple bars 58 is shown, which preferably is configured as truss structure 57.

As can be seen in Fig. 8 and Fig. 9, these couple bars 58 are configured to project from the rear side 56. It may be envisaged, as this is shown in Fig. 8, that in a direction perpendicular to this rear side 56 the couple bars 58 have different dimensions. For instance a couple bar 58 that is further spaced apart from the suspension rib 55 towards the bottom can extend with a larger length away from the rear side 56 than a couple bar 58 arranged in the height direction above it. By the couple bars 58, in particular if they have different lengths in a direction perpendicular to the rear side 56, also a clamping structure or jamming structure for the door tray 14 can be formed. Thereby upon suspending also a clamping or jamming holding of the door tray 14 to the suspension rib 47 can be facilitated. Moreover, by the couple bars 58 also a stiffening of the suspension rib 47 is achieved.

Moreover in Fig. 8 it can also be seen that the suspension slot 55 is formed in a direction perpendicular to the wall element 48 not across the entire dimensions of the top plateau edge 54, but is narrower. Thereby a transition 59 is formed, which is not present as narrow, sharp edge, but as rounded roof bar.

In Figs. 5, 6, and 9 also an arrangement 60 is shown, which comprises the inner door wall 27 and the door tray 14. An exemplary door tray 14, as it can be installed on the inner door wall 27, is shown in Fig. 10. The door tray 14 on a rear wall 61 comprises a suspension element 62 that is formed as a single piece with it. This is here configured to be rib-like or strip-like. It extends in an L-shape from the rear wall. It comprises a roof bar 63 and a leg 64 that is vertically oriented relatively thereto. As can be seen in Fig. 9, the vertical leg 64 extends through the suspension rib 55 from the top. With this leg 64 thus the door tray 14 engages behind the inner door wall 27. The roof bar 63 rests on the top plateau edge 54, in particular the transition 59 and thus also the suspension rib 47 from the top. Thus the leg 64 is arranged spaced apart from the rear wall 61.

Advantageously, it is also envisaged that the door tray 14 comprises distance bars 65 and 66. These extend to project from the rear wall 61. These distance bars 65 and 66 in the width direction are spaced from each other in such a way that they contact the wall element 48 laterally of the suspension rib 47 in the mounted state of the door tray 14. In particular here essentially, viewed in the width direction, a precisely fitting receiving of the suspension rib 47 is facilitated. Thereby the fit of the door tray 14 on the inner door wall 27 in the suspended state is improved. In particular a slipping in the width direction in an advantageous embodiment is thereby avoided. Additionally or instead, it may also be envisaged that the leg 64 has a width that corresponds to the width of the suspension slot 55.

The door tray 14 is formed as a single piece with the suspension element 62 and/or the distance bars 65 and 66. The arrangement 60 in an advantageous embodiment can be integral component of a door of a household cooling appliance 1. In the shown embodiment it is integral component of the door 9. In particular same is integral part of the door device 5.

In Fig. 11 in a perspective sectional view the arrangement 60 is shown. It can be seen here how the vertical leg 64 is inserted through the suspension slot 55 from the top and engages the wall element 48 from behind. In particular here a coupling with the couple bars 58 is shown so that preferably a clamping effect is achieved. Moreover it can also be seen that the rear wall 61 contacts the plateau front wall 50 laminar. Advantageously, the suspension rib 47, viewed in the height direction, is dimensioned in such a way that it has the height of the rear wall 61 or essentially this height. In the mounted state of the door tray 14 the suspension rib 47 thus is fully covered by the door tray 14 at the front side.

In Fig. 12 in an enlarged view a partial section from Fig. 11 is shown. The clamping attachment of the door tray 14 on the suspension rib 47 can be seen. By the leg 64 and the rear wall 61 a slot or a groove 67 is formed, into which then the plateau front wall 50 and the couple bars 58 plunge.

In Fig. 13 in a perspective view the wall body 18 is shown, which here forms a body 19 of a door tray. The troughlike wall body 18 at its top side wall 24 advantageously comprises ventilation openings 68. In particular it is also envisaged that at its bottom side wall 23 it additionally or instead equally comprises ventilation openings 69. By the bottom side wall 23, viewed in the height direction, a bottom is formed. This bottom advantageously is also the bottom of a door tray 71. The door tray 71 , as it is in particular configured in Fig. 13 and Fig. 14, which shows an enlarged partial view of Fig. 13, comprises the body 19, the bottom 70, side walls 21 and 22 as well as a front wall. The front wall 72 is here formed by a separate rib 73. The door tray 71 comprises a deposit space 74, in particular for bottles. In the shown embodiment the door tray 71 thus is also formed by the wall body 18 and this separate rib 73. The door tray 71 thus is integrated with partial components into the door 9. Parts of the door tray 71 thus are multifunctional components, since they in addition to forming a deposit space 74 also have at least one further function, in particular bound the storage space 11. In particular a partial volume of the storage space 11 is formed by the deposit space 74. The rib 73 represents a board-like or beamlike element, which here is a straight, rectangular plate. This rib 73 then also extends into a plane. The rib 73, viewed in the height direction, is arranged spaced apart from the bottom 70 so that between the bottom 70 and the rib 73 an air gap 75 is formed.

The rib 73 is connected at its opposite ends with the side walls 21 and 22 and extends advantageously across the entire clear width between the side walls 21 and 22. This rib 73 can also be referred to as connection bar which extends between the sidewalls 21 and 22.

Advantageously this front wall 72, which is configured as rib 73, is fastened by at least one, here preferably two separate holding brackets 76 and 77, as this is shown in particular in the exploded view in Fig. 14. The single-piece holding brackets 76 and 77 are here of an L-shaped design. As can be seen, the side wall 22 has a passage 78, which here is configured to be slot-like. It is fully circumferentially framed so that it is no passage that is open towards the front edge of the side wall 22. The holding bracket 77, which is explained in more detail in place of the further angle 76 of the same construction design, in the mounted state extends through this passage 78. It goes without saying that advantageously also the further side wall 21 comprises such passage, through which the further holding bracket 76 extends.

In the mounted state the holding bracket 77 extends on both sides of plate-like side wall 22. The holding bracket 77 comprises a first bracket element 79. This first bracket element 79 in the mounted state of the holding bracket 77 contacts an outer side 80 of the side wall 22. This outer side 80 is the side, which faces away from the opposite side wall 21 , and thus also faces away from the deposit space 74. This first bracket element 79 contacts this surface 80 laminar.

The single-piece holding bracket 77 moreover comprises a second bracket element 81 , which ends in the first bracket element 79, in particular at an angle of 90°. In the mounted state this second bracket element 81 , which is oriented in the width direction, extends through the passage 78 and is coupled with the rib 73. The second bracket element 81 thus is a couple blade. As can be seen in Fig. 14, and in the enlarged view in Fig. 15 in more detail, at this outer side 80 a coupling structure 82 is formed. This coupling structure

82 here and thus in the embodiment comprises two differently shaped coupling elements

83 and 84, which are integrated into the outer side 80. In particular it is envisaged that in the first bracket element 79 a complementary counter coupling structure 85 is formed, as it can be seen in the enlarged view in Fig. 16. In the mounted state of the holding bracket 77, as this is shown in Fig. 16, the coupling structure 82 is coupled with the counter coupling structure 85. For this purpose the coupling elements 83 and 84 plunge into the corresponding counter coupling elements in the first bracket element 79. In particular the coupling elements 83 and 84 extend through the counter coupling elements of the counter coupling structure 85 that are configured as respective holes.

In Fig. 16 the mounted final state of the holding bracket 77 on the side wall 22 is shown. The second bracket element 81 extends through the passage 78. In this second bracket element 81 in an advantageous design at least one clamp element 86 is formed, in particular integrally formed therein. The clamp element 86 preferably is a spring element, which partly projects from the first bracket element 81.

Advantageously it is envisaged that the rib 73 at least partly is configured to comprise a hollow profile 87 (Fig. 19). In particular at the ends, which are envisaged for coupling with the holding brackets 76 and 77, these hollow profiles 87 are formed and open towards the side. Upon mounting the rib 73 the first bracket element 81 is inserted into the hollow profile 87, in particular the, in the height direction, central hollow profile 87. By the clamp element 86 a jamming in the hollow profile 87 is effected. In this regard in Fig. 17 in a perspective enlarged view the mounted final state of the rib 73 on the holding bracket 77 is shown. The second bracket element 81 plunges comprehensively into the hollow profile 87. The rib 73 then is arranged in such a way that advantageously, viewed in the depth direction, it is flush with the front edge of the side wall 22 as well as with the front edge of the side wall 21.

In Fig. 18 in a horizontal sectional view (sectional plane is the x-z plane) the design in Fig. 17 is shown. Here it can be seen, how the second bracket element 81 is plunged into the hollow profile and by the clamp element 86 a jamming therein is achieved.

In Fig. 19 a view of an end of the rib 73 is shown so that here the hollow profile 87, which is open at the end face, can be discerned. Preferably, the rib 73, which is configured as front wall, is an extruded metal profile, in particular an extruded aluminum profile.
