Abstract:
Provided is a household electrical appliance with which effective notification of advertising is possible. A cooktop (100) comprises: a display (10) and audio input/output unit (20) which notify a user of advertising on the basis of advertising information; a display control unit (110c) and audio control unit (110d) which control the display unit (10) and the audio input/output unit (20); and a motion sensor (24). The display control unit (110c) and the audio control unit (110d) control the display (10) and the audio input/output unit (20) in such a manner that users are notified of advertising in timezones in which it is highly likely that a user will receive advertising notifications from the display (10) and the audio input/output unit (20), and when the motion detection sensor (24) has detected that a person is present.
