Abstract:
Provided are a household electrical appliance and a household electrical system capable of quickly responding to a power demand required to reduce the peak power consumption. The household electrical appliance comprises: a receiving unit for receiving, from a remote controller and a mobile terminal, a request for reducing the peak power consumption at a predetermined rate; a driving unit for driving a power-consuming object to be driven; and a controlling unit for controlling the operation of the driving unit. When the request for reducing the peak power consumption is received from the remote controller or the mobile terminal, the controlling unit controls the operation of the driving unit so as to reduce the maximum value of the power consumption of the device itself according to the requested rate.
