Abstract:
A household electrical appliance 100 comprises a power supply circuit unit 15, a power supply detection unit 18, an actuator drive unit 17, and a power supply unit switch 16. In step S102, a standby mode is implemented, and thus the power supply unit switch 16 enters an off condition. Afterward, if a process progresses through steps S103, then S105, and then S101 during implementation of the standby mode and the power supply detection unit 18 detects that AC power is not being inputted, the process progresses to step S110. In this step S110, the power supply unit switch 16 is turned on and an actuator drive unit 17 is made to operate, and thus the charges of a first smoothing capacitor C1 and a second smoothing capacitor C2 can be rapidly discharged with a drive circuit 17a.
