Abstract:
The present invention relates to a housing for a back light module, for accommodating a light source unit, a light guide plate having at least a protrusion at its lateral side, and a plurality of optical film plate. The housing comprises: a base frame; and at least an edge frame around the edge of the base frame, which includes a recess corresponding to the protrusion of the light guide plate for engaging the protrusion, and an opening having varying width provided at one side of the recess. Meanwhile, the present invention discloses a back light module using said housing for a back light module.
