Abstract:
Provided is a housing for a household electrical appliance, said housing making it possible to prevent a cut surface from remaining sharp after manufacturing, and not requiring a large mold for manufacture, even for objects having a long shape. This housing for a household electrical appliance is provided with: a first member (210) manufactured by extrusion molding, wherein cross-sections at arbitrary locations orthogonal to the axial direction have the same shape, and an opening (211) is formed in a side surface; a second member (220) manufactured by injection molding and fixed to one end of the first member (210) in the axial direction thereof, wherein a portion of said second member (220) constitutes an edge of the one end side of the opening (211); and a third member (230) manufactured by injection molding and fixed to the other end of the first member (210) in the axial direction thereof, wherein a portion of said third member (230) constitutes an edge of the other end side of the opening (211).
