Abstract:

A housing shell (11) for electrical measurement, control or communications devices, in particular the lower housing part or the battery cover of a mobile telephone, has a high degree of flexural and torsional rigidity despite an extremely small wall thickness with a preferably completely planar outer face (12) because of the planar cut of a thermoplastically laminated fibrous fabric is insert‑moulded in an injection mould along the edge (13) with a thermoplastic frame (14) together with integrally formed functional elements, wherein the frame (14) preferably surrounds an antenna (15) radially and possibly also axially, which antenna is designed, for example, as a single‑layered helical coil (18) in a sandwich with a magnet face (17.2), which is in the form of an unround ring face, in a depression (16.2) running peripherally along the edge (13) and is connected via passages (20), without any intersections, to a transceiver (21) within the housing.
