Abstract:
A housing structure of a rotating electric machine comprises a housing that houses the rotating electric machine inside and has a housing opening for drawing the lead wires of the rotating electric machine to the outside, and an insulating terminal box that is attached to the housing and covers the housing opening. In the terminal box, a mounting surface having an opening that communicates with the housing opening is formed on the bottom side, and the terminal box has a terminal block therein to which lead wires drawn out from the opening are connected. The housing opening is formed at an axial end of the housing on a surface obliquely inclined with respect to the axial direction of the rotating electric machine. The mounting surface of the terminal box is formed to be inclined with respect to the axial direction in accordance with the surface where the housing opening is formed. A cylindrical sleeve that protrudes toward the housing and is inserted into the housing opening is provided on the mounting surface at the edge of the opening.
