Abstract:
An HST traveling system of a work machine capable of eliminating the need of a transmission and a propeller shaft, capable of traveling the work machine from a low speed to a high speed, and enabling the simplification of circuit configuration. A controller (31) calculates the target tilt amounts of hydraulic motors (10) and (20) by referring a vehicle body traveling speed (vehicle speed) obtained from signals detected by a rotation detector (20c) to control characteristics and controls tilt amount control means (10b) and (20b) of the hydraulic motors (10) and (20) and a clutch (15). Also, the controller changes over a traveling mode from a set speed to a low speed four-wheel drive for driving both of traveling devices (12) and (22) or a high speed two-wheel drive for driving only the traveling device (22) on the rear wheel side by zeroing the capacity of the hydraulic motor (10) on the front wheel side.
