Abstract:

The present invention relates to a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) scheduling system of a content delivery network (CDN), comprising: a central decision-making server, one or more central scheduling servers, and one or more edge scheduling servers. The central decision-making server is configured to generate a central decision-making file according to the bandwidth and loading information of a global server cluster. The central scheduling server is connected to the central decision-making server, the central scheduling server is configured to execute the central decision-making file, and when a content request of a client is received, selecting a preferred server cluster and a standby server cluster according to a geographical location and request content of the client, and returning to the client a jump address having the preferred server cluster and the standby server cluster. The edge scheduling server is disposed in a corresponding edge server cluster, and each edge scheduling server is configured to obtain bandwidth and loading status of the corresponding edge server cluster when the content request of the client is received, and determining thereby whether the request should be guided to the standby server cluster.
