Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hub for a flywheel and a flywheel for energy storage having same, and more specifically, to a hub for a flywheel provided between a rotor and a rotary shaft of a flywheel so that the rotor has an identical rotation speed as the rotary shaft, the hub comprising: a main dome having formed on one end an insertion hole for inserting the rotary shaft and on the other end an opening portion along the length of the rotary shaft, and is formed in a hole-shape through the winding of composite materials; and a sub-dome that attaches to the rotor, and is formed by winding the composite materials on the outer surface of the main dome, wherein at least one of the main dome or the sub-dome expands in a radial direction of the rotary shaft according to the rotation of the rotary shaft and the rotor, thereby maintaining the attachment of the sub-dome and the rotor.
