Abstract:
This hub unit (1) equipped with an auxiliary steering function is provided with: a hub bearing part assembly component (2) provided with a hub bearing (15) for supporting a wheel; and an actuator (5) for auxiliary steering. The hub bearing part assembly component (2) is installed on a knuckle (6), i.e. a unit support member of a suspension device, via upper and lower rotation-permitting support components (4, 4) in two places, so as to be capable of rotating around an auxiliary steering axis (A) extending in the vertical direction. The actuator (5) for auxiliary steering is installed on the knuckle (6), and allows the hub bearing part assembly component (2) to rotate around the auxiliary steering axis (A).
