Abstract:
A three-axis vibration acceleration pickup (13), an A/D converter (19), a microcomputer (20), a display (11) and others are provided inside the handle portion (2) of a hand-held vibration tool such as an angle grinder (1). Each time a continuous work is interrupted, an 8-hour equivalent acceleration value (ahw(eq.8h)) is determined based on a detected vibration acceleration signal and is accumulated in one day. At each interruption, a frequency load vibration acceleration effective value (ahw) is determined and, based on this value, the 8-hour equivalent acceleration value (ahw(eq.8h)) is calculated. Using this 8-hour equivalent acceleration value (ahw(eq.8h)), a residual margin time (tpi) is determined and displayed to precisely rate vibrations imparted to a human body and thereby securely protect the human body from vibrations.
