Abstract:
A human body wearable device according to an embodiment comprises: a light emitting unit for emitting light to the outside; a light receiving unit for receiving light incident from the outside; and a control unit for controlling an operation of the light emitting unit, detecting the intensity of light incident to the light receiving unit according to the operation of the light emitting unit, and detecting a worn state of the human body wearable device on the basis of the detected intensity of light, wherein the control unit detects the worn state using a difference value between the intensity of light incident to the light receiving unit in an interval in which the light emitting unit is turned on and the intensity of light incident to the light receiving unit in an interval in which the light emitting unit is turned off.
