Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/226070
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A human non-alcoholic steatohepatitis model comprising an animal produced by raising a chimeric rodent animal, in which some or all of hepatocytes have been substituted by human hepatocytes, with a prepared feed having the properties (a), (b), and (c) mentioned below stably shows actual symptoms of human NASH: (a) The blending amount of fructose is 10% by weight or more relative to the whole amount of the prepared feed; (b) the content of fats is 10% by weight or more relative to the whole amount of the prepared feed, or the heat amount of the fats is 20 kcal% or more relative to the total heat amount (100 kcal%) of proteins, carbohydrates and the fats in the prepared feed; and (c) the blending amount of cholesterol is 1% by weight or more relative to the whole amount of the prepared feed.
