Abstract:
A humid and mildew resistant gas blanket device for a washbasin with lighting function
is disclosed. The washbasin comprises at least a basin body (1) for containing water,
a light guiding layer (2), and a light source (3) provided at the bottom of the light
guiding layer (2). Light from the light source (3) is led to the top edge of the washbasin
in the light guiding layer (2) with total reflection and then emitted outward.
A humid and mildew resistant gas blanket device (50, 51) is provided between the
basin body (1) for containing water and the light guiding layer (2), which is an
airtight construction with dry air therein and isolatedfrom the humid ambient
air.
