Abstract:
When humidifying water contains a mineral component such as calcium carbonate or magnesium, there is a possibility that scale may be generated locally at an end part on the upstream side of a humidification plate having holes and having a high humidification efficiency, or at the periphery of the holes. When extremely small air spaces in the humidification plate are blocked due to this scale, the water absorption performance of the region where the scale is generated decreases significantly. Consequently, there is a problem in that the humidification plate must be replaced and the replacement cycle is shortened even if the regions other than the end part and the periphery of the holes are in good condition. Therefore, in the present invention multiple openings 5 which open in the plate thickness direction are distributed on a flat surface of a water-absorbing humidification material 4, and in the airflow direction in which air is blown from one end to the other end of the water-absorbing humidification material 4, the opening area on the other end is increased.
