Abstract:
A humidification device 1 is provided with: a housing 2 in which a suction opening 3 and a discharge opening 4 are formed; an air delivery duct 5 formed within the housing 2 and providing communication between the suction opening 3 and the discharge opening 4; a blower 20 disposed in the air delivery duct 5 and generating an air flow in the air delivery duct 5; a humidification section 30 for humidifying the air flow flowing through the air delivery duct 5; and a water containing tray 31 disposed at the humidification section 30. The housing 2 has a substantially rectangular box-like outer shape and is provided with protrusions 2e, 2f protruding laterally outward from the front face 2a and rear face 2b of the housing 2. The inner spaces of the protrusions 2e, 2f constitute portions of the air delivery duct 5.
