Abstract:
A humidification device (20) is provided with: a circulation blower (3) for forming, in a circulation air passage connecting an intake opening (5) and a discharge opening (6), an air current which flows from the intake opening (5) toward the discharge opening (6); a humidifier (7) disposed at the portion of the circulation air passage, which is located between the circulation blower (3) and the discharge opening (6); a water supply and discharge system (8) for supplying water to the humidifier (7) and discharging water from the humidifier (7); a temperature and humidity sensor disposed at the portion of the circulation air passage, which is located between the circulation blower (3) and the intake opening (5), the temperature and humidity sensor measuring the temperature and relative humidity of indoor air; and a controller for controlling, on the basis of the temperature and relative humidity of the indoor air measured by the temperature and humidity sensor, the operation and stop of the circulation air blower (3) and also controlling the supply of water to the humidifier (7).
