Provided are a humidification unit, a humidification method, and a humidification system, whereby the efficiency of diffusion of steam into the air, the absorption level (absolute humidity), and the effective utilization ratio of the water supply can be improved. The humidification unit (2) humidifies air by supplying superheated steam heated to 130ºC or above, and is provided with a steam generating unit (25) disposed inside a first heating chamber (20), and a superheated steam generating unit (26) disposed inside a second heating chamber (21). The steam generating unit (25) and the superheated steam generating unit (26) are constituted by the electrical resistance heater (5) disclosed in JP-B 3813234. The humidification system (1) is provided with a blower fan (3), a duct (4) for directing air from the blower fan (3) to a chamber internal space (S), a humidification unit (2) for supplying superheated steam to the air inside the duct (4), and a control unit for controlling the humidification unit (2) to adjust the temperature and the amount of superheated steam supplied to the air inside the duct (4).
