Abstract:
Disclosed is a humidifier which may effectively use the water absorbed by a humidifying filter, and discharge humidified air in various directions. The disclosed humidifier includes: a housing having an air inlet part; a water reservoir mounted in the housing; a humidifying filter with the lower part thereof dipped in the water reservoir; a pressurizing space with at least a part thereof surrounded by the humidifying filter; and a blowing means arranged towards the upper part of the humidifying filter for discharging the air taken in through the air inlet part into the pressurizing space, whereby the air discharged by the blowing means into the pressurizing space passes through the humidifying filter under the inlet pressure of the air so as to be humidified and discharged towards the outside of the humidifying filter. This humidifier employs the pressurizing space with at least a part thereof surrounded by the humidifying filter so as to use uniformly the water absorbed by the upper and lower parts of the humidifying filter for humidifying the air.
