Abstract:
Provided is a humidifier for which the water supply tank can easily be removed, and for which a lid covering the steam discharge opening can easily be cleaned. A steam generation device generates steam which is discharged from the discharge opening, and a water supply tank (30) that supplies water for evaporation is inserted in a removable manner into a tank-housing part provided in the steam generation device. A lid (60) which covers the discharge port is rotatably supported on the water supply tank (30) by a hinge part (34), and the water supply tank (30) is removed by pulling the lid (60). Thus, the water supply tank (30) can easily be removed, and because the lid (60) can be transported together with the water tank (30), the lid (60) can be washed by applying water to the lid.
