Abstract:
A liquid atomization device is provided with a liquid atomization unit (17), a water storage unit (10), a water supply unit (13), a detection unit (22), a temperature detection unit (23), and a control unit (24). The liquid atomization unit is provided to an air duct between an inlet (2) and an outlet (3), and humidifies the air. The water storage unit stores water for humidifying the air. The water supply unit supplies water to the water storage unit. The detection unit is provided at a prescribed water level position in the water storage unit, an output value thereof varying according to the ambient temperature. The temperature detection unit detects the temperature in the liquid atomization unit, and outputs an air temperature (TSA) that indicates the detected temperature. The control unit has an estimation unit (25) for specifying an estimated voltage value (VA), which is an estimated value of the output value that is output from the detection unit at the temperature indicated by the air temperature that is output from the temperature detection unit, and controls the supply of water from the water supply unit on the basis of the estimated voltage value from the estimation unit and an actual measured voltage value (VB), which is the output value that is output from the detection unit.
