Abstract:
Disclosed is a humidifying apparatus comprising: a fan (20) arranged in a casing (1); a humidifying filter (40) for humidifying an air flow produced by the fan (20); a water tray (90) arranged below the humidifying filter (40); a water splasher (60) having a turning frame mounting the humidifying filter (40) and supported rotatably by the casing (1), and a bucket unit (61) mounted on the turning frame, for scooping up water from the water tray (90) and splashing same on the humidifying filter (40); a geared motor (74) for rotating the turning frame of the water splasher (60); and a control unit (200) for controlling the fan (20) and the geared motor (74). The control unit (200) controls the geared motor (74) before the humidifying operation, and controls the rotation of the turning frame of the water splasher (60), to thereby perform the humidification preparing operation to soak the humidifying filter (40) with water.
