Abstract:
Provided are a humidity conditioning device and humidity conditioning method capable of performing humidity conditioning without effecting a temperature change within a space. The humidity conditioning device can effect control over humidity in a space by energizing a moisture absorbing membrane formed from a conductive polymer, thereby causing moisture to be released. The moisture absorbing membrane is characterized by being a membrane body wherein a thiophene based conductive polymer is added to an organic solvent comprising ethylene glycol or dimethylsulfoxide. In addition, the humidity conditioning method is characterized in that control over the humidity in the space is effected by energizing the moisture absorbing membrane, thereby causing moisture to be released, wherein the membrane is formed by adding to the organic solvent, ethylene glycol or dimethylsulfoxide, the thiophene based conductive polymer so as to increase the conductivity thereof.
